Where human connection meets organizational strategy—building cultures of belonging that power innovation, trust, and long-term success.
Meet Joy
After nearly two decades as a professor teaching culture, equity and inclusion, my move into consulting and speaking was a natural evolution of my life’s work—helping people and organizations communicate across difference with courage and clarity.
Through my TEDx talk and co-authored book, I witnessed the deep hunger for genuine understanding—the kind that transforms quiet discomfort into insight, and insight into action. Those moments of connection revealed what every organization needs but few know how to achieve: the ability to lead with cultural agility.
My approach blends research and real-world experience through an anthropological lens—exploring how identity, power, and culture shape the ways we work, lead, and live. I help leaders and teams navigate the complexities of human behavior, especially in global and fast-changing environments where misunderstanding can quietly erode trust, collaboration, and performance.
My goal is for everyone to feel seen, valued, and heard—but also for leaders to recognize that belonging is not just a moral value; it’s a strategic advantage. When people feel understood, they perform at their best. When organizations invest in that understanding, they grow stronger, more resilient, and better equipped for the future.
If your organization is ready to lead with clarity amid cultural complexity, I’m ready to be in your corner.
